On the other hand, I’ve recently started watching Gundam 00, (yes, I’m pretty behind with the latest anime.)

I’m up to episode three, and I must say, It’s amazing ^-^
The character design is great and the plot is interesting, although a little too far-out, (four mobile suits can bring piece to the world with armed interventions. huh. My friends say there is a bigger meaning behind it, which I didn’t perceive with a mere five episodes.) I can’t help but compare it to Death Note and especially Code Geass. Code Geass was an all-time favorite of mine and I expected the similarites to ruin my watching experience, (mobile suits and a revolution,) but the feeling is different: Gundam focuses on all of the characters better than Code Geass. It ties everything together flawlessly, also.

So far, Gundam 00 is a 8.5/10. I have a feeling the rating will increase over time, which my friend predicted, also.

I shared the whole box with my fellow library monitors; it was a huge hit! The strawberry cream was beautifully speckled with candy bits (I didn’t really taste it, though.) There is vanilla cream icing underneath, all surrounding the chocolate ‘pretzel.’ I hesitate to call the thin cracker underneath, although that is what wikipedia calls it, because I think of pretzel as an unappetizing, dry and salty joke of a snack. But back to Fran Whipps, they are relatively inexpensive, around $3. It’s much thicker than regular pocky, (where the icing is so thin you need to eat 4 to get the same amount of flavor you can get from one Whipp,) so a box comes with four individually wrapped sticks in groups of only three. The packaging is also cute and attractive. The only thing I would complain about it is the amount, I can’t stop at one package >.<

Overall, it is a great choice who any occasion, especially during study sessions ^-^ You might have to stock up on boxes because they are addictive.

Stuy, an affectionate nickname for our school, spawns stereotypical ‘nerd’ references when mentioned by others.

We as the student body embrace these comments and make jokes about them. I do not think that our work load is any heavier than other high schools. The expectations they place on us make us work harder, or at least I do.

Back to Jason’s blog, which he said he’ll show me after he had posted five entries, which is reasonable, so I suggested the same with mine. I think having a blog buddy would motivate me to write more, which is goal #2.

Speaking of goals, goal #1 was on the back of my mind when I spotted a classmate of mine this morning. She walked in beautiful high-heels, a couple of steps ahead of me. I poked my cheeks and rubbed them in a circular motion, trying to stimulate a normal smile. The corners of my lips pulled up in the most awkward way and I dismissed that idea until I had more practice in the mirror. The clicking of her heels diverged my train of thought and the hypnotic sound enchanted it into a dark tunnel, (if trains of thought may be enchanted.) Ugly thoughts quickly replaced goal #1, (ah, such a young, fleeting thought of mine.)

She walks with such confidence; each unhesitant click signals that she has a place to go, a place where she is needed. And her arm! Look at how it swings, such elegance, and matched with that posture. To maintain that without looking stiff while wearing heels to top it off! *sigh*

While trying to summarize my thoughts at the moment here, I feel pathetic. I can’t believe I let such nonsense run through my brain, wrecking havoc to all my common sense. Jealousy, I realize, is an emotion that unfortunately influences my thoughts greatly. I’m a dreamer, and unfortunately not a do-er. All this dreaming stems from this envy I have. Many say that this murky green emotion is a dirty sin, and I understand why. Jealousy is getting me nowhere and is clouding my skies. So goal #3 is to stop comparing myself to other people without doing anything to improve myself.

I went to a robotics meeting and found out that I, a neophyte, was not needed. It’s hard assimilating with new groups because I always try to blend in by calculating the circumstances and acting accordingly, even if it is incongruous with my normal self. That’s just a long way to say that I’m a hypocrite. *sigh*

I dropped my bag near the wall and proceeded to do my homework while my seniors discussed about technical difficulties while building a prototype. As jargon was thrown left and right, I silently wrote on my post-its and pretended to belong there.

“-Nice purple, uh, what do you call ‘em again? Yeah, post-its!”

“Thanks!”

….

I surprised myself when my voice came out so cheerful. When I collected myself and looked up, the person was already out of sight.

Thinking back, I should have been more assertive. I should have asked for work, something, anything, instead of sitting there. I was admitting that I was an outcast.

Goal: To greet more people and initiate more conversations.
